Brief Profile

Dr. Swati Chauhan is a Professor & Head of the Department of English at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (Deemed to be University) at Faridabad, Haryana since November, 2017. She is an M.A. in English with PhD degree in English Literature. She was the university topper in her master degree. She has 21 years of teaching experience at UG and PG level. She had been selected as a Lecturer in Govt. Degree College Lucknow by Higher Education Commission, Allahabad. She has worked as Associate Professor at Lingayas University till October, 2017. She has also worked with MDU Rohtak and MJPRU Bareilly. She is guiding 8 PhDs. at present and 4 PhDs have been awarded under her guidance. She has also guided many dissertations. She has written 41 research papers which are published in many reputed National and International Journals Scopus and WOS indexed and edited 5 books. She has presented 35 research papers in National and International Conferences. Also, she has organized many workshops, FDPs and National, International Conferences. Dr. Swati Chauhan has also been invited to deliver guest lectures and to chair the session in Conferences at several colleges and Universities. She is a Reviewer of Editorial Board of SSPS International Journal ISSN:2350-0596 and S3R journal of English Language and Education too. She has been awarded academic excellence award by SSPS academic award 2022 and also received Best Associate Award “Karmsu Kaushlam- Best faculty award” organized by Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad on October 2024.
