The students at the School of Law pursuing an Under-Graduate Programme undergo minimum of 20 weeks and 12 weeks internship training for 5-year and 3-year programmes respectively. The Industrial connections or networks are of utmost importance in a profession like law. Internships provide practical edge and help law students in obtaining practical experience and go beyond theory. Engaging with legal entities such as firms, government agencies and advocates offers opportunities for hands-on experience and enhancement of skills viz. time management, teamwork, communication and legal research. Apart from legal skills, the students also learn about legal ethics through internships addressing topics like client representation, professional conduct, confidentiality and handling conflicts. School of law provides opportunity to its students to apply for internships in legal firms, corporate firms, with government organizations etc.
