Course Name: M. Tech (Civil Engineering in specialization with Structural Engineering)
In order to be eligible for the M.Tech in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering, students have to achieve a minimum of 74 credits. They are both classified into two separate baskets: 56 credits of Compulsory Courses and 18 credits of elective courses.
As part of M Tech structural engineering curriculum, students go through the following: Mini Project during third semester (2 credits), Dissertation Phase I (10 credits) and Dissertation Phase II in last semester (16 credits), thus industry and research ready.
The programme combines theory with practical training using the latest computer-based structural and civil engineering software like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, MS Project, and Primavera, complemented by an integrated and application-oriented learning environment in conformity with modern industry practice.
