Programme Overview

The B.Sc. Clinical Psychology program at MRIIRS is a four-year undergraduate degree that gives students a lot of knowledge about psychology and experience working with patients in real life.  The program includes both theoretical study and research-based inquiry, as well as hands-on experience. It prepares students for jobs in mental health services, clinical support, and research by teaching them about psychological testing, therapeutic skills, mental health, and behavioural sciences.

Program Details

  • 4-year honors/research structure that works with NEP and lets you go
  • The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is the basis for the program. You can do honours or research in its four-year bachelor's degree program. After the first, second, or third year of the program, students can get a certificate, diploma, or degree. They can also come back if they want to.
  • Be honest, learn about other cultures, and pay attention to what you do in clinical practice.
  • A lot of the classes are about how to do clinical work, how to be open to and aware of other cultures, and how to be honest in psychology. This prepares students for a lot of different jobs.
  • You get real-world experience in labs and on the job.
  • Students learn how to apply what they learn in class to real life through labs, clinical placements, and fieldwork.
  • A school program that teaches yoga, Indian knowledge systems, environmental studies, and other things
  • Some of the subjects in the program are yoga, environmental studies, and Indian Knowledge Systems. These subjects help students see things from different angles and become better people.
  • Some parts of the Final Years: A thesis, some research, and some work experience
  • In the last few years of the program, students do research, internships, and write a dissertation or research project. This gives students a chance to use what they've learnt, get better at thinking critically, and make a difference in the field of psychology.

You must pass the 10+2 exam or an equivalent exam from a recognised board with a science stream with at least 50% marks.

Admission Criteria

  • As part of the selection process, meritorious students are required to take the Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT), appear in the CUET‑UG examination, and attend a personal interview.

Programme Highlights

Option to Leave Students who finish three years of the program and earn 132 credits are eligible for a B.Sc degree. This gives them the freedom to move forward in their studies.

After four years (160 credits), you will get an Honours or Research degree.

An Honours or Research degree is given to students who finish all four years and earn 160 credits. This shows that they have received advanced academic and research training.
