Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2025

Manav Rachna University actively participated in the Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2025 (2nd to 18th February 2025) at Surajkund, Faridabad, Haryana; a vibrant celebration of India’s rich heritage, culture, and crafts. Students from various departments volunteered across the 17-day fair and played a crucial role in the successful execution of the event.   The students contributed to media coverage, stage anchoring, hospitality, and ground-level management. They managed photography and videography, managed cultural programs, and coordinated with performing teams. Several students worked with the police in traffic regulation.  This experience proved to be a significant learning opportunity, helping students build confidence, communication skills, leadership, and a deep sense of civic responsibility. Their sincere efforts and professionalism were highly appreciated by the event organizers.  Participation in Surajkund Mela 2025 showcased the values of teamwork, discipline, and service ingrained in Manav Rachna University’s ethos. It provided students with real-world exposure to large-scale cultural event management, enriching their academic journey with practical experience.
